Josh started his career after earning his bachelor’s degree in Finance at Bentley University. Following college, he worked for John Hancock Financial Network as a financial advisor. At John Hancock, his primary focus was working with pre-retirees and retirees in the areas of asset preservation/distribution and long-term care planning. During this time, he furthered his credentials by obtaining the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification in March 2007. A CFP® certificant must meet educational, experience, examination, and ethical requirements, as well as provide financial planning services that adhere to the CFP Board’s standard of excellence. He went on to earn an MS in personal financial planning from the College of Financial Planning.
After leaving John Hancock, Josh spent the next seven years working as a financial advisor with the Senior Resource Center, Inc. SRC is the innovator of a multidisciplinary advisory group that unites health care coordination and advocacy, asset preservation and financial guidance, as well as legal overview, under one roof. While there, he worked closely with attorneys and case managers to help clients navigate the healthcare system. In many instances, this can help a person age in place and maintain their independence.
With Josh’s extensive experience working with seniors, and knowledge gained working with the team at Senior Resource Center, he is able to help his clients navigate the many complexities of asset management / income distribution in retirement, Social Security, Medicare / Medicaid, Long Term Care, and Estate Planning. He is helping his clients balance the goals of living comfortably, aging in place, and never outliving your money.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time in New Hampshire, traveling and skiing. Born and raised in Plymouth, he now lives in Quincy with his wife Chrissy, son Ethan, and bulldog Gladys.
